If you have an Android phone, I know you’re everywhere, surfing the web, downloading apps, etc. At times, there are bad people out there, doing bad things and they are happy when they can make your phone crash. You need some protection, if you want to protect your phone, your personal files, photos, music, from those bad people, you should read this article.

Congratulations, for choosing the safer path. For your wise choice, I offer you the knowledge of a free program called Lookout Mobile Security.

Lookout offers:

·      Security – protection from malware & spyware.

·      Backup – backing up your contacts to the mylookout.com site – remember you can add contact info directly to your Android phone w/o seeding it to the cloud on Gmail, this will grab all your contacts, also its good never to keep all your eggs in one basket (my humble opinion).

· Missing Device – If you ever loose your phone, you can go to their website and it will trigger a loud alarm (assuming your phone has power) and allow you to hear where the phone is. If you have the Premium account, it will also allow you to remotely lock and/or wipe your phone as well.

You don’t have to pay to use this great little tool, however there are extra bells and whistles that a paid account gets; however, I personally use the free account.
