At n3rd4u.com we’re always looking for unique things to chat about, to stand out about the rest of the blogging site out there. Yesterday, May 31st, 2011 was the announcement of the Tegra Kal-El series of processors. What this means to us consumers, is there’s a tablet coming out around the 2nd half of 2011 that will have a Quad Core processor. There is also an amazing video demo by the Nvidia; the project is called Glowball that shows off the power of the Quad Core system in action. Honeycomb 3.0 is gong to be an an amazing OS under the Android flag. It currently is out in some dual core tablets already, however once you hit the Quad Core level of processors, you have all the power to do almost anything, in a real-time state. I’ll have to get one when it’s available, it will go well with my HP-HDX18 Quad Core laptop.
I strongly feel Android for the Linux environment is what iPhone did for Apple, it’s a whole new world, and the possibilities are clearly endless. If you’ve not tried out an Android device yet, there are plenty of items out there, however in the Tablet arena, I’d wait till the Quad’s drop before you play with one. They’re always talking about the next “iPad killer” and I really don’t feel you’ll ever kill the iPad, it has its place out there like other hardware does however, for those who wish to be part of a different hardware camp, your wait is almost over.
